Hi everyone that still follows me here! Long text ahead I have been here for 14 years, using this platform was a huge deal for me from the start, I know I'm no longer active here, mostly due to lack of time (it's difficult to manage so many pages at the same time) Now I'm saying goodbye, the whole AI thing just sealed the fate of my account in this place, shame though, I was considering coming back since now twitter it seems it's also heading to the dust bin. I can't stay in a place that allows using/abusing of other artists artworks to have untalented lazy people ripping them off, if you see, now DA's front page is full of the same crappy type of images over and over...images that don't inspire anyone to make art by themselves. This site used to inspire people to get better at art, having great skilled artists encouraged others to polish their own art skills. Like many, I wasn't good at making art at the start, but having my favorite artists here to admire their art and study them is what made me improve to get better and to love and enjoy the art I made. Now all that is gone, replaced by "quick art" that doesn't fulfill me, doesn't inspire me, doesn't challenge me and doesn't make me feel anything. I'm so thankful for all the support through these wonderful 14 years!
